The Cottage is a not for profit residential life skills program that has seen 75 men and women deal with their addictions. Operating for 12 months without formal materials, this project will see the development of a living work book and journal for residents of the Cottage enabling easy access to the training materials and program log.
While many activities of the Cottage are offsite it is beneficial for residents to track internal and external curricular through this manual and log book
Addictions to alcohol, drugs and many other masks for human trauma is a common issue in society and The Cottage is having great success integrating addicts back into family and work. This project will streamline the materials used to formalise the training.

I you think they have used an underhanded approach, help them get it right. Its an essential much needed service in this area. When almost everyone else has given up hope on the people they assist back to a better life, everyone benefits, not just the participants but the community in general.

The Cottage has been operating for a year without any permit. Only after neighborhood pressure , were they forced to seek Council approval. Council has refused. The matter has been referred to VCAT. Not impressd by the underhanded approach of the business organizers of this establishment. Take a close look at the model of operation..
