The Bush Bus welcomes everyone with children aged from 0 - 6 years old to play freely in a bush or park setting. Children can climb, explore, dig, play in mud or puddles, build, engage their senses and make discoveries as well as participate in programed activities such as nature inspired arts and crafts, water play and educational nature walks and talks to uncover the indigenous flora and fauna of their local area. The Bush Bus playgroup is conducted in a relaxed and informal space where parents, carers, babies and children can come together in a friendly and inclusive environment.
The benefits of being connected to your local community and natural environment have been well documented and acknowledged as vital components of the physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of children and adults alike.
Operating from Monday to Friday, the Bush Bus playgroup is led by passionate facilitators who will visit five locations each week in the areas surrounding Beveridge, Wallan, Kilmore, Broadford and Seymour for Term 4, 2018 and Terms 1 & 2, 2019 (31 weeks in total).

Would love to see this especially in Broadford. The early years a so important and more social type groups In the region would be brilliant.

My son has done Bush Kinder when we lived in a different area and he LOVED IT. I think this should be available everywhere. This type of play it so important.
