Beulah is situated in the centre of the nationally renowned Silo Art Trail, in the North west of region of Victoria. To enhance the trail we would like to develop an interactive information centre to tell the grain story to the thousands of tourists that pass through the region.
* the centre would include story boards and interactive videos of the history of grain growing in the area.
*the project will seek funding to construct two modified steel silos to house this project.
*to update a current building in the caravan park to be more user friendly to increased users.
This project will be massive for our community. It will create short term employment with the construction. It will provide ongoing information on the region, promoting the region and local businesses. All these things can value add to what the region already has to offer. The digital stories will also preserve the history of the area with the research that will be done. The centre will also be a merchandise store for tourism items and ultimately set up a booking system for reservations at nearby camping and caravan parks.

The Southern Mallee needs a story to go with the Silo Art Trail. Beulah would make a great center for all information about the Silo Art Trail. The Grain History of the area is something that need to be recorded and told to tourists.

This would be a great asset to Beulah to tell the Silo Art Trail story, and support tourism through this area. It would also tie in the grain and silo story. This hasn’t been done and needs to be told.
