The pick my project funding will join other funding providers to significantly upgrade the barn for not only the trotting community but riding for disabled, community markets and other events.
The new barn will play an important role in the event of a community crisis like a bushfire, as it will offer refuge to all animals large and small. The club already has a large back up generator that can run the barn, making it ideal in an event where there is large scale power outage.

Regular uses of the barn will be the local trotting community, riding for the disabled participants, and any community members that have an event they would like to hold within the barn, all will be welcome to access the barn.
The greatest use of the barn will come through an emergency situation, similar to the March 2018 fires, when the community will have somewhere that will still have power to bring animals of all types to seek refuge.
