Sustainable Cities is a cycling tour that individuals or groups can undertake to visit organisations, projects and spaces that address and implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The tour is self-directed with the aim of the individual to successfully complete the tour by digitally ‘ticking-off’ each organisation, learning about each organisation, project or space, and how individuals can personally address the SDGs.

Each location will have a QR Code that will link to a page with information on the SDG, a short interview with the CEO, designer or leader, and a unique badge to 'tick-off' the location.

The United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda can often feel very disconnected from individuals and communities. Through the Sustainable Cities, individuals will visit organisations, projects and spaces across Melbourne that are actively addressing these global issues at a local level.

Sustainable Cities will raise awareness of local organisations that are addressing the 17 SDGs through a self-directed, family-friendly, fun and active tour that provides tools on how individuals can live a more sustainable life.

Sustainable Cities believes active, engaged and sustainable communities are happier, healthier and connected communities.
