Supporting our Community -Talbot Community Hub Inclusion Project

Our Hub includes a multi-award winning community garden; the Talbot Provedore and Eatery holding the Golden Plate Award for the Best Licensed Café in Victoria; Market Square providing the central location for the nationally acclaimed Talbot Farmers Market; a medical clinic providing quality affordable services and shops supporting tourism. The project will:
# contain service costs and improve the environment through solar panels;
# support volunteers by installing permanent outdoor furniture and shading and irrigation systems, minimising lifting, carrying and hand-watering;
# enhance community pride - beautification and landscaping;
# add to safety through an improved Hub public address system.

#Community Hub services will be more accessible by containing costs and made environmentally sustainable through solar panel installation;
#Hard working volunteers will be supported through the installation of outdoor seating, tables, shading and garden irrigation reducing lifting, carrying and hand watering;
# Community pride and access to free, healthy fruit and vegetables will be enhanced through added beautification of our Community Garden by quality landscaping;
# Safety will be strengthened through a new Community Hub public address system especially on Talbot Farmers Market days;
#Tourism will be strengthened by ensuring the Hub provides a wide range of services to visitors.
