The Don Bosco Youth Centre has multi-recreation facilities: trampolines, table tennis tables, billiards, air hockey, soccer tables and gym equipment, and an outdoor basketball court. We run 3 major programs FREE OF CHARGE which are accessible to all children, teenagers and parents in our local community: every weekend and after school during the school term, and every day of the school holidays. All schools and youth groups can hire our facilities at very reasonable cost.
Brunswick is a very multi-cultural community. Our recreational facilities are 100% available to all children, teenagers and parents. The 3 major programs we run free of charge ensure we are fully available to those most in need. Our philosophy is "prevention and early intervention". If youth have access to fun activities with their friends, in their leisure time, in a safe environment, they are much less likely to get into trouble.
