Sunbury SES has experience significant growth in its membership to in excess of 70 volunteers and a junior squad of 11 (15 to 17 years) and needs a large indoor training facility for theory and information technology based learning. This project will entail the purchase of a relocatable multi-purpose building which can be used as a classroom, small conference room and meeting room. It will be equipped with computers to enable completion of on-line learning modules. The training room will also facilitate Sunbury Unit's ability to host Regional training courses for SES volunteers.
Sunbury SES is the Primary and Secondary Road Crash Rescue provider for the Sunbury, Bulla and Diggers Rest region as well as managing storm, flood and other natural disaster response. This facility will enable the Unit to deliver effective training to members, meeting its Operational Capability requirements.
Volunteer members of Sunbury SES are also active in other local community not-for-profit groups. It is envisaged that this facility would be available for use by those groups for meetings and training activities. Such groups may include, but are not limited to: Sunfest, Blue Light Disco, Red Cross, and Sunbury Radio 3NRG 99.3FM

Good luck with it all
It is essential that the SES has a suitable training centre. All the best with it. It is the least we can do to thank you all. 😀
Would love to see the SES achieve this everyone in the are would benefit from this and I hope it comes to fruition
Good luck with your project
Sunbury SES volunteers are fantastic in responding to community. A purpose built training room will enhance training and provide a better WHS environment from the elements
The Sunbury S.E.S. has made do with just fair Training Room Facilities for quite some time and to perform their life saving duties a proper Training Facility is needed. There is too much emphasis on the volunteers to fund raise and surely a new Training Room would boost their morale and have comfortable area to conduct training on these cold winter nights. You guys and girls get my vote all the time.
You have my vote. You do the best work
You guys do an amazing job. You have my vote.
Best of luck! You have my vote. Xx Kate
SES do an amazing job and as a community we ask a lot from them, so yes they deserve a training room
Everyone you drives a car, has had storm damage or wayward tree come down in these crazy winds.... its time to step up & do all we can to give back to these gals & guys.
They're there no matter how icy or torrential the rain, giving of their time & energy to help those they may never see again. Often leaving an ses incident to go off to full day of work. So rare these days on so mamy levels. Truly this is what community is all about.
Please share with others who may respond to a gentle nudge.
.
I admire the work these people are doing. They deserve all the help they need
Good luck
