Storage and Maintenance Shed

The 1st Lang Lang Scout Group is a rapidly growing Group. With over 70 members and providing quality Scouting to the youth of our District from the ages of 5 to 18, we are Lang Lang's biggest youth organisation providing a year round educational and outdoors experience. To do this though we need additional storage capability for our equipment such as watercraft, tents, camping and catering equipment. Our existing garage is over 40 years old and "packed to the rafters" presenting OH&S concerns for leaders, parents and our youth members. A new larger shed would be a great asset.

A new shed will provide us with a facility to correctly store and maintain our community funded equipment. It will also allow us to establish a base for our new Venturer Unit which is the 14-18 year old Scouts. In doing this we are actively allowing our youth members to come together in a safe non judgemental environment where they are taught life skills and experiences in the outdoors and through service to the community. A shed that allows us to store, maintain and meet will ensure that the 1st Lang Lang Scout Group continues to grow.
