It is time to upgrade the Napoleons Recreation Reserve playground. The playground has been great for the past 10 years but we can make it fabulous! A family friendly play space to use and enjoy is needed to support sporting and recreation facilities at the reserve and the increased enrolments at the adjoining primary school.

A basket swing, large climbing frame, paths and secure fencing, with ample seating, will enhance the experience for all community members and visitors to the playground.

This upgrade will provide a safe and secure playground for all ages and abilities.

In country areas, sport and recreational groups are the glue holding communities together. In Napoleons, many groups are centred around the reserve: tennis and cricket clubs, CFA, Landcare, and the local primary school. Visitors are also hosted regularly.

Located on Colac-Ballarat Road (C146), travellers use the reserve regularly as a driving break.

The playground upgrade will benefit all regular users of the reserve, community members and visitors passing through, providing greater connectivity, a safe playground and family friendly space within the hub of our community.

Great idea. And be good to have a skate park for local kids to play too.

Would be lovely to see this area given a face lift and bring it up to standard for the community
