Stawell Town Hall Light and Sound

Equipment at the Stawell Entertainment Centre (Town Hall) is aging and in need of upgrading. The project will purchase and install additional lighting bars, lights, movable spotlights, rear backdrop projection equipment, motorise the front curtain and reduce outside light impact with additional curtaining. Expert industry support will be engaged to provide a review of the light and sound systems to ensure current and new equipment is best used and provides a quality experience for performers, audience and support crew.

This wonderful community venue is used by a broad cross section of people and groups for a variety of events and performances. Groups include community arts and theatre groups for dance, drama and music, concerts and festivals including youth FReeZa events. Community arts and crafts groups for exhibitions and cultural events, local schools for concerts, sporting clubs for fundraising and awards. Feedback from groups and volunteers is that improved sound quality and more lighting options would greatly improve local performances and better equipment will attract and support outside acts to perform here in Stawell.
