We would like to hold a Community Fair on 8 December 2018 to celebrate our school turning 100 years old. It will be a fair that is inclusive of the entire Port Phillip community and embraces our vibrant arts and music culture and respects our local environment and community.
The fair will share information about the history of our school with the broader Elwood community. The Fair will have bands, performers, rides, farm animals, sporting activities and individual class stalls.
And aligned with our Eco Warrior program, we will ensure a sustainability focus to protect our environment.
Our Fair aligns with the Inner Metro Partnership priorities for our region, particularly in relation to social inclusion. The Fair will be inclusive of everyone in our community.
Our school community supports Sacred Heart Mission. Sacred Heart assists hundreds of people who experience homelessness to find shelter, food and support.
We hope through a successful Fair Celebration our school will continue to support Sacred Heart as we did with our 2018 Mother’s Day Stall which raised over $400 for Sacred Heart Women's Shelter.
The Fair will promote our values of love, compassion, dignity and respect for the world around us.
