An extension of the shade shelter at Sprint Athletics Centre is needed to provide shelter for parents/families and other spectators to watch their children participate in little athletics.

Without the extension of the shade shelter, family members and other spectators must stand in the rain and be exposed to the sun, effecting their health and wellbeing. With an additional shaded area, more families will be attracted to participate in little athletics improving the health and wellbeing of the local community. Also, the provision of additional sheltered areas will attract more local schools to use the facilities at Sprint Athletics Centre.

Great idea for all athletes and their families to have shelter between events and also for members of the lical community who use the track regularly or ad hoc. It would help to provide space in the community to meet and be sun smart

Craigieburn is a growing suburban so families do have children (very good to have your children to participate in athletics in today's era because many children are so much into computer savvy during their out of school times), therefore Craigieburn need to support families and provide extension to Sprint Shade Shelter.
I was an inter-school 100 Sprinter during my younger days when I was growing-up in Cedar Girls Secondary School and the Principal of the school was very hardworking like our Yuroke Constitute Ministers to get grants from the government to support the School and Communities to build strong and big shelters for parents to turn-up in a very good covered shelters with fitting strong plastic chairs to sit and and support their children.

Having a child who attends the centre for Little Aths & a baby in a pram, this is very important to have this extra space shade extension for families like myself to comfortably sit & ensure we are well protected from exposure of the sun & rain to help cheer on our kids for their events.
