Sport is a great way to have fun, improve fitness and to be included socially in a team. Footys4all run sports clinics for children from a disadvantaged background who also distribute balls for free to all participants of these clinics. Footys4all clinics are proven to promote fun, fitness and social inclusion, our program evaluations have a 95% "would recommend this program" result. By running sports clinics and providing free balls to participants, this allows participants to enjoy the freedom and excitement that sports provides outside of school.
Everyone feels good when they feel part of a team. Sport allows Footys4all to provide happiness during clinics and the ball allows the participants to feel this happiness at home. Footys4all Sports Clinics promote fun, fitness and social inclusion. This will benefit the local community by encouraging sports participation and a sense of belonging. By giving participants a ball to keep, it allows them to continue playing once at home and forever after in their own time. A child engaged in positive behaviours through sport will be less likely to engage in negative community behaviour.
