Tarneit Rise PS opened in January 2018 with 220 students (prep – grade 2) from very diverse cultural backgrounds. In 2019 the school will accept enrolments for children in prep- 6, doubling the size of the school .Continued growth is expected, catering for this rapidly growing suburb.
The school is joining with the City Of Wyndham to provide a joint user facility (soccer and netball) to engage the youth in the Tarneit area and to connect families in pro-social activities. Currently the school has one playground; a challenging rope climbing frame, which is not inclusive of all children.

We are seeking a playground and shade structure to enhance the sport/recreation joint use facility between the school and Wyndham City Council. The playground will be used by families after school hours and by the children at Tarneit Rise PS during the day. The Out-of-School-Hours-Care facility will also be able to use the equipment. Tarneit is a culturally diverse community so this will serve as a meeting and gathering place for our community. The school currently has no shade structure/mature trees to provide sun protection. The yard needs developing (see photo) and we require play equipment inclusive of all children

The school needs a play ground. There is no place for the kids to play. It is really unsafe when i see kids playing on uneven surface in front of school and getting hurt.
