South West Fires, anniversary commemoration

The community event will be aimed at celebrating all that has happened since the March 2018 fires of the South West. Those that were affected by the fires will be brought together with those that helped rebuild afterwards.
Members of the community will be able to nominate up to 500 people to attend a night at the Terang Harness Racing Club, and receive an all inclusive complimentary meal, with Guest Speaker, along with an opportunity to participate in Harness Racing Double Seater Sulky Rides and Mobile Barrier Rides.

The South West community was devastated by the March 2018 fires, and has banded together to rebuild homes, farms and lives since. March 2019, will be the 1st Anniversary of the fires and this project will allow community members that were directly affected to join with community members that have volunteered their time to help rebuild the community.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for the community to continue the healing process from the devastating events and show recognition to all involved in helping rebuild the community post the fires.
