Soft grass court to hard court

As a small passionate volunteer committee it is increasingly difficult to maintain our lawn courts to a safe playing standard. Adding an additional hard court surface to upgrade our facilities will potentially increase our membership and community participation. General community and club members will have improved access to a high quality, low maintenance surface. An additional court will increase access for currently capped numbers in coaching, social tennis and competition tennis.

Our current facilities have 2 hard courts limiting our numbers to 8 participants at any one time. We often have players that are turned away due to lack of court availability. An additional hard court will enable us to meet community demand allowing us to extend our junior coaching program and provide an increase in mixed competition and social tennis numbers. This additional hard court will enable our club to expand and develop new tennis programs and activities for our community, such as cardio tennis, adult coaching, a Hot Shots Program and tennis programs for local schools.
