The SKY HIGH Project will develop a Drone Training Academy, operating as a social enterprise, to provide young people in our region with commercial standard training courses in drone technology. The Academy will also offer work placement, mentoring and develop entrepreneurship and future thinking skills.

An Expert Panel will be assembled to guide each stage of the SKY HIGH Project's development. The Expert Panel will include representatives from regional businesses utilising drone technology, organisations offering drone training courses and the education/government sectors. A particular emphasis will be placed on the current and future uses of drone technology in regional agriculture.

The benefits and opportunities Sky High will provide our young people, regional businesses and the broader community are boundless!

Drone technology is set to revolutionise every aspect of our lives in coming years, and the GV needs to be at the forefront of this revolution.

Sky High will meet the dual needs of providing exciting local career opportunities for young people, while making commercial drone technology services available to our community - generating revenue to make Sky High self sustaining over time.

We have the local 'ingredients' to make Sky High a success, we just need your support to launch!

Would this be open to all or only school aged people?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out and so sorry for the late reply. No, this will be open to all young people in our region. Some conditions will apply, but open to more than just school students.
I hope this helps and we can secure your vote :)
Have a great afternoon!
