The SES provide an essential service to our community & have outgrown their current facility, therefore I strongly suggest funding be allocated for this important expansion project.

This project is to provide the local Bacchus Marsh SES with a storage and training facility to meet the increased demand required for this emergency service.
At present the facility is located in Gisborne Road adjacent to APCO fuel and car wash facility. This creates many problems as vehicles are brought in from wreckers and cut up with the Jaws of Life for training purposes in a very restricted and heavy traffic area. In addition , when emergencies occur, members have limited car parking, access, and emergency vehicles are impacted by the heavy traffic when exiting the site.
A major benefit will be faster response times and possible life saving outcomes in our community. Community involvement and safety are major aims of this project. This new SES facility would store emergency vehicles and provide significant parking as well as room to conduct extensive training programs. It is envisaged a considerable increase in activities will be encountered by the SES as the current population within the region expands. This region covers all of Moorabool shire. It also offers better access to members living in West Maddingley, Darley and Coimadai. It will result in increased membership and service.

So important for our community
SES provide such an important service, a larger facility is required for training ,storage and a better position to access all areas for Bacchus Marsh with less traffic congestion.
We count on this guys to hel is out when we need it. Pays to help them out where we can!!
The SES provide a very good service to our community & have outgrown their facility & need a new one
An important community support for an organisation of volunteers providing such a vital service
An upgraded training facility is desperately needed
Good project for a growing community
What a wonderful service we have with the ses
Our town is growing at a rapid rate and I think a facility in Darley would be very helpful in a quick response in an emergancey
The current facility is inappropriate for training and emergency responder headquarters purposes and creates a hazard for both the personnel and civilians. Moving the facility to Darley will enable better, quicker and safer outcomes for all involved.
It all adds up a great project, I hope you have allowed for the cost of security cameras and alarms!
Great idea the township is only getting bigger
fantastic idea
They are currently limited for space where they are now, setting them up at the Hub will provide better facilities for this very important community group and allow better response times.
I Think this Project needs support from as many as we can as it helps Volunteers respond to the ones in need
Additional Facility will greatly service the Moorabool Shire community with training and response capability
Town centre traffic congestion is only going to get worse as our population increases. Fast response times are imperative to SES success
Our town is growing we need more room for our great ses so they can provide a good service to our town and area
Will enable faster and safer service to the area avoiding a lot of delays on Gisborne road
Great use of funding, helping to train and save lives, an inspiration!
A worthwhile funding which benefits the whole of our community.
Great volunteers who give so much to our community when they need it most.
Broadening SES facilities to service the growing community.

SES volunteers deserve every bit of support we can provide. Let's give them better facilities as soon as possible!
