The Secret Agent Society (SAS) is a Small Group Program designed to help kids 8 to 12 years of age crack the code of emotions and friendships.

SAS features an animated ‘secret agent’ computer game, Helpful Thought Missile action game, Challenger board game, Secret Message Transmission Device game and explicit small group teaching. There is also a parent component.

The SAS program would be facilitated by 2 trained members of the Alexandra Primary School staff. There would be two groups over the course of 12 weeks. One during school hours and one outside school hours for community access.

We are aware of the need for students to learn the social and emotional skills of making and keeping friends. These skills are lacking in our low SES community. We believe that facilitating a program with a strong evidence base that enables children to make and keep connections, as well as regulate their own emotions, will benefit our community by improving the mental health and social wellbeing of our young people.
The program supports both students between the ages of 8 and 12, and their families.
