ScoutShout!

Seymour’s very own scout group is growing! We need to expand to accommodate more youth, so we can continue to support our young people in becoming up standing citizens in your community.
We plan to build a large shed to store or Rover Crew’s buggy and some shelving to store our ever-expanding collection of tents, stoves, gazebos and camping equipment.
Also on our list, is to establish a district training centre, which will assist our leaders in their training, a comfortable meeting space, an area for parents to congregate while their child is attending a section meeting night.

Scouting is open to everyone. Scouting has been around for over 100 years, servicing your local community. Most people if you speak to them, will have some connection to a scout group somewhere in their family.
By implementing this project, it will benefit the whole community. It will allow the Group to expand and accept new members, but also provide a facility for community groups and individuals to utilise if they have a meeting, function or get together. Scouting is for the community.
Scouting has a whole range of benefits for the community and our young people.
