Pinks Reserve is home to many sports, including the Kilsyth Football and Cricket Clubs. Our clubs value the development of an inclusive and supportive culture for our athletes, families and fans. Building an active and welcoming community is important to us.
The Kilsyth JFC, in particular, has experienced a recent boom and today is home to 376 players, including 60 female athletes – a 23% increase from last year. We rely on our families to create a thriving club. Our members are active, hard working participants that make our community stronger.
Our electronic scoreboard is aging and unreliable; frequent outages occur and it means our club members must manually score games. This puts pressure on our over-committed volunteer base.
A new, functional scoreboard will free up families to stay on the sidelines to support players rather than locked up in a score room.
And just as important, it will enable our already hard-working members to volunteer on activities that strengthen our community – like team management, coaching, fundraising and canteen duties - rather than spending their valuable time on band-aid fixes for outdated technology.

The scoreboard at Pinks reserve needs to be replaced. Some times throughout the games it works then it doesn't. We need a more reliable easy to read scoreboard.

Our old scoreboard is very unreliable and hard to read from different angles around the ground. As well as Kilsyth Junior & Senior Football clubs & Kilsyth cricket club this facility is used for EFL Lightning Premiership, EFL Junior Finals & Interleague events. A new scoreboard would help us function more efficiently and would be an amazing asset to our already wonderful club.

The old scoreboard kept breaking down this season so a new updated reliable scoreboard would be a fantastic addition to our 300+ junior members, plus senior club, cricket, junior efl finals etc.

So many community events held here. Scoreboard works intermittently. This would be an important investment to so many members at this club. Go Cougars!
