Schools Personal Hygiene Support Program

Access to personal hygiene products is vital for physical and mental well-being for women, men and CHILDREN. Pinchapoo's FREE Schools Support Program is a great tool for welfare coordinators to discretely support struggling children and families
during tough times. Without access to personal hygiene products children can become withdrawn, distracted, lose self-confidence and become self-conscious. This easily preventable issue can sadly result in long term damage to our mental health. Pinchapoo has been providing personal hygiene support to schools in disadvantaged regions around Melbourne, and due to massive demand is now wishing to add regional Victoria to its program.

1 in 6 children struggle to have their basic needs met (bureau of stats 2012) and the choice between food & hygiene is one families face weekly. Children effected are being isolated and bullied during school as a result. Providing essential hygiene helps to build foundations of self worth, and support a happy healthy education journey. This basic hygiene assists young people to confidently manage their journey, while we reduce the risk of long term physiological health issues. Funding this project will assist communities throughout regional Victoria, in communities Pinchapoo is yet to assist.
