Sandy Point Music Club Sound System

The Sandy Point Music Club have been operating now for just over 12 months. During this time we have presented a wide range of acts to packed audiences in our local Community Centre. We have also during this time secured the purchase of our own stage and stage lighting. However up to now we have had to hire in a sound system for each event. This project will allow for the purchase of a mixer, speakers, microphones and ancillary equipment to provide flexible, professional sound for all our future events and under our direct control.

The Music Club provides a focus for our small community bringing people together with the shared experience of live music. Proceeds from our events are used to support other local organisations; hospital, schools, community groups and have also been reinvested in equipment such as the stage and lighting. We hope through this project to add a sound system and be fully self sufficient . We also hope to offer financial assistance to a young local student to train with the use of the equipment to support the Music Club and perhaps with a view to a career in Sound Engineering.
