Saltgrass - the sustainability podcast

Saltgrass will be a weekly podcast and also aired on local community radio stations across the region.

Each week I will talk to the someone from our local communities who is working for a healthier planet. We have many passionate and interesting people working to reduce the effects of climate change. From farmers to solar gurus, tiny home builders to waste management moguls, these people are deep thinkers, people prepared to take risks on creative and innovative new ideas. I want to ask them what they are doing, but also why, what motivates them to do what they do.

The future of our region is dry, dusty and bleak unless we take action to reduce carbon emissions, manage waste and implement more sustainable lifestyles.

This program hopes to celebrate and broadcast what local people, from Echuca to Woodend (and everywhere in between) are doing to help make our community greener, cleaner and more healthy for everyone. Hopefully listeners will be inspired to implement change in their lives and will have a better understanding of all of the action being taken in our region and how to participate.
