We urgently need cleaning equipment, a secured locked tool compartment for this equipment, as well as safety pads and skateboard equipment for our (GSC) free skate workshop clinics. We require new mops, squeegees, brooms, and leaf blower for surface cleaning. Empowering our Gippsland Skate club to maintain the park that we use on a day-to-day basis, will keep it dry and safe to use, free from debris and puddles, which would otherwise render this amazing facility unsafe, slippery and unusable. Having a compartment nearby with the much needed tools will give us the best possible resources for the community!

By providing the Gippsland Skate club access to a secured lockable compartment nearby with equipment to clean and dry the park regularly, will help facilitate an inclusive safe space for all participants. The Club hosts events and activities weekly/monthly and annually, which requires ongoing cleaning and equipment as the park surface becomes very wet and unsafe to ride, with bark and debris from nearby trees blown all over the surfaces creating unsafe obstacles. The community also benefits from having a club that has active members, willing to participate in the cleaning, clinics and comps held at the skate park.
