Project will convert vacant area of old netball courts into a safe physical activity area. New fencing and access gates will enclose the area. A gazebo style shade shelter erected, plus bench seats around the perimeter along with native shade trees & shrubs. Outdoor disabled toilet & bubblers are already available at the recreation reserve office on the site. Access is available to residents of the community. Mothers with toddlers on tricycles, aged & disabled residents will have a quiet pleasant area to meet. Local schools can use for bike education.

Converting the old netball courts on Strzelecki Way will provide our community with a new facility which does not exist at the present time, providing a safe enclosed area for toddlers on tricycles & scooters to enjoy healthy activity, and mothers to relax or participate in exercise programs. The gazebo shade shelter, bench seats & shade trees creating additional comfort and a pleasant environment to meet. Provide an area for school bike education classes. Owing to area size school driver training programs can utilise the area on a booking basis.

Great idea Marilyn. We need space for families with young children.
