S.I.M.M.A, the Socially Inclusive Musicians Mentoring Alliance, is an evolution of people who want to get together around Music and the Performance Arts, with an emphasis on music and performance progress. S.I.M.M.A Springboard is a project aimed at disadvantaged people to give them the capacity to express through music their stories by providing high quality live audio and video recordings for disadvantaged performance artists who normally would not be able to afford it, giving them the tools to propel their musical goals, build confidence, perform live gigs, showcase their music online, offline and in person.
S.I.M.M.A a self funded, NFP organisation, has been involved in true social inclusion since 2007, because what we do is in no way selective. S.I.M.M.A nurtures all people to be socially connected through Performance Art. Legitimate, authentic, autonomous Performance Art offered by people in our community who would otherwise be unheard has the power to uplift communities locally and beyond. S.I.M.M.A and S.I.M.M.A Springboard is Community Inclusion at its best. Do you know a budding musician, a singer, a poet, a comedian or a MC who just wants to give it a go? We’re here! Support us! Get involved!
