The Henderson Pavilion is a multi-purpose indoor stadium used for community and schools, sporting, and health and well-being activities including badminton, basketball, netball, lifeball, football training, family sports night, strength training and fitness classes. It is also used by cricket, football and little athletics as change rooms/toilet and wet weather training and activities.

The existing acrylic floor is deteriorating rapidly and requires replacement to remain a safe venue for users.

Access to the building by disabled can be difficult.

The floor replacement will make it safer for existing sports users who range in age from under 8 years to over 80 year of age.

An electronic swing door opener and steel ramp to the entry will make the building more accessible for users and members of the public attending events at the venue.

Both these improvements will provide opportunity for other community members to engage in health and well being activities in a local, safe and protected environment.
