Romney Park Basketball & Netball Courts

Wanting to add basketball and netball courts to the Romney Park area.
There has been an influx of young and growing families moving into the area.
It would be beneficial for the children of the local community to have greater use of freely available, outdoor sporting facilities in the local area. Unfortunately, Romney Park has been greatly underutilised and has enormous potential to make it great again. A safe and welcoming park surrounded by a supportive community which would aid in bringing more of the community together outdoors, and generate more community inclusiveness with a productive space.

The improvements to the park will encourage more of the community and different age groups to come together and exercise in the outdoors. It would increase physical outdoor activities for the children. There would be more of a conducive space for the young families with playground and seating facilities. Walking paths for the elderly as well as riding tracks for the young ones as they gain their confidence on their bikes.
