Rockbank Community Memorial

Our school wishes to improve community connections and believes a memorial that remembers past students/ members of the community that have served in war is a way to do so. It is a project where members of the community will access on days of remembrance as well as during gatherings and special events. We are hoping to construct an area that is also used for outdoor learning especially about various cultures such as the Indigenous community.

This project will benefit the local community to connect to all members of the community from past students, to local civilians as well as students at the school. It will bring people of the Rockbank community together to remember the sacrifices those have made for us. As a school in the community of Rockbank we feel it is important to bring people together, especially those who are in our network or those people who surround our community to improve and develop the understanding and importance of remembrance.
