Riversdale Avenue DDA compliant access ramp upgrade.

The project aim will be to upgrade the existing access ramp at Riversdale Avenue to ensure all abilities/inclusive access for all community members wishing to utilise the shared pathway. The upgraded ramp will be compliant with DDA requirements and provided access to the network of walking trails for all members of the community.

Currently only able bodied people can utilise the ramp and access the shared pathway. The current ramp at Riversdale Avenue has a very steep incline and has an uneven surface creating difficulties for access for a number of users. A DDA compliant ramp will allow those with limited mobility/individuals with prams/bike riders the ability to safely access the top of the shared user path.
