'Rise & Sign' Traralgon East Community Connect Project

The acquisition of this sign will provide an opportunity to better engage a community that has been disengage and socially isolated. This infrastructure will support work being done from the community centre as our partnership group works to; engage & encourage residents of Traralgon East to engage in community life, promote positive opportunities, build both individuals & families capacity to make good linkages and connections with their community. We can then promote initiatives more effectively that value add & support local initiatives that have a positive outcome for this community and better place them into the future.

Increased awareness will allow the community to benefit from the following outcomes;
Residents will see that there are local solutions to local problems
Residents do not feel isolated
Residents feel connected to their culture and community
Residents have a raised awareness of support and feel more connected & informed
Residents have the capabilities & opportunities to participate in learning, education & training
