This project entails the complete restoration, rejuvenation and reinvigoration of the Tullamarine Tennis Club grounds. This will predominantly be dealing with the landscaping surrounding the 6 courts, the amenities and seating areas for the courts and the area directly in front of the club-house. These works will be used by all current and future club members allowing a pleasant experience for all. This redevelopment would also allow the council to redirect its current maintenance program of the proposed landscaped areas to other priorities and at the same time allow very low maintenance by the members and the council.
These proposed landscaping redevelopment works would enhance the local community and its users and members, allowing a more pleasant experience with an elegant view of the surrounding areas. Also, with the "Book A Court" online system to go into action in the coming months, which has shown to increase membership by up to 25%, these proposed works would provide a more enticing option of becoming a tennis club member and at the same time allow more time in the outdoors and also becoming fitter and healthier at the same time.

The redevelopment of the area surrounding the courts would make it more attractive to prospective members. It would reduce costs for the council by creating a low maintenance facility that members could more easily look after.
Encouraging people to visit and try the facility increases potential member numbers and improves fitness and social activity in the area.
