Renovation/Upgrade to very old change and club rooms

Our current change rooms are very old, dated, somewhat unsafe and unwelcoming and certainly not female friendly. Our simple project is to renovate/upgrade them to a reasonable 21st century standard by refitting the showers, basins, mirrors, etc in both the home and away rooms as well as in the club rooms. Other work will include repairing and replacing benches as well as painting.

The upgrade will benefit all the current and future participants/users of the change and club rooms which includes our football club, the Moorabbin West Cricket club and the East Brighton Vampires Junior Football club with its hundreds of juniors. As well as any other users of the facility such as schools, community groups, finals series, etc. It will allow / maximise the chances of the tenant clubs having female teams. Increased participation in active sport allows participants to reap the benefits of physical activity, networking, community inclusion, self-esteem, etc
