Our aim is to provide a safe and creative space for disengaged youth to thrive with purpose and a chance to shine through art and volunteering. We want to build confidence and leadership skills through vocational learning.

The program is designed to educate youths in bike mechanics and business skills into how to run a workshop. The community workshop will be open 7 days a week where everyone can use the tools to maintain their bicycle and we will participate in community events, tours, education and training days to promote cycling and health.

Through our Recycled Cycles Program and the community workshop being open every day, we will give easy access to everyone to tools and knowledge in bike mechanics. As a mini-trial project we will begin in Cremorne and collaborate with Cremorne.co and Yarra City Council to ease traffic congestion in this area. There are four new developments in Cremorne and car spaces are very limited, while the population working and living in this area is growing rapidly. We plan to draw attention to biking through events and by having visual presence which will be localised through street artists.

A great charity with a high volunteer rate and low overheads. A great example for other charities.
