Children meet once a week after school or/and on the weekend as well as school holidays. The program offers various recreational, sensory and craft activities for children to come together and be themselves.

Children are selected in their appropriate age groups - 5 to 7 and 8 to 10. There will be 2 carers with coaching backgrounds, a sporting facilitator and a therapist adviser.

Sensory crafting activities will include: painting, drawing, cutting, playdough, manipulative and sensory building with sand, tubes, beads and blocks.
Recreational activities will include: tennis, basketball, climbing, swimming, local park, trampoline, table tennis and soccer.

Children on autism spectrum struggle with socialising, coordination and low self-esteem. This recreational sensory group will provide an affordable and quality social group for the children to form friendships with peers. To meet, play and relate with people of their own neurology.

Some families can't afford to use social groups run by therapists due to costly fees.

Families with children on Autism spectrum need a space to feel safe, accepted and respected for who they are. Although learning how to co-exist in a neurotypical world is important, but these families need to develop a healthy self-identity and self-esteem.

Finally! There is such a need for this within the community. Win-win for families and children.
