Recipes to Die For (Great food for a good cause).

There are recipes we cherish (maybe handed down through generations) and recipes we would die to get our hands on, and keep returning to our favourite restaurant/café to enjoy. Food brings people together to enjoy each other’s company, share stories and nourish our souls. Over 50 participating cafes and restaurants in the Eastern Dandenong Ranges will each contribute a recipe to produce a beautiful cookbook to promote the region. Sales from the cookbook will support Fernlea's respite services in our local community for people under 65 and help to educate and open up the conversation about death and dying.

This is a community project and will build relationships amongst the local residents, Fernlea Inc and participating restaurants/cafes, and visitors to the region. The cookbook will benefit those who buy a copy as they enjoy the recipes, the eateries who participate, Fernlea House services and the people they care for. The book will include snapshots about Fernlea the organisation and impart the joys of sharing food with friends and loved ones.
