Remembering fondling our double "kitchen tea" in this wonderful hall in Feb 1953. Glenis and Loris have had many happy times in this great place. It must be repaired and cared for.

Re-blocking along back of hall near the toilet area and about two-thirds of the Supper Room which includes a kitchen. After re-blocking, the toilets and kitchen will need to be re plumbed, and some walls re-plastered and painted.
The hall is classed as an Emergency Relief Centre for our Yarriambiack Shire. Different groups which utilise the hall include: football and netball club, several local state schools, Rupanyup Nursing Home Committee, ANZAC day service, Dirt Music, Cancer Biggest Morning Tea, exercise classes, Christmas carols, catering for bus and car clubs doing the silo trail, various balls, quiz nights, morning teas, casserole luncheons and, because the local churches have closed, funerals.
A Back-To is planned in 2020 and will coincide with the centenary of our hall. The hall will be the hub.
Looking into the possibility of movie nights.

As a very important historical building in our town with ties to the war and our involvement
Films, concerts, old time dances, library, ANZAC Day services, funerals- this town hall has seen it all. An important venue for the town and must be maintained.
Special hall for a unique town.
The Hall Committee has been working hard over many years trying to ensure the Hall remains in good working order for future use. Well done.
I can remember seeing Star Wars with my Mum at the Hall way back when - I hope the movie nights come back!
Great for the Rupanyup community
A must for this town to survive
Wow I remember doing many school concerts in this hall it would be ashame if the town loses it
Be great for the little town. Really hoping this goes ahead.
What a great initiative for a great town who is putting in tireless effort to ensure its long term sustainability.
It would be fantastic to have our Hall ship shape for the towns 150 year celebrations and at the same time celebrate 100 years of the memorial hall.
This would be a great result for Rupanyup to get this, make sure you encourage all your friends and family to vote

This is one of many Rupanyup icons in the Rupanyup community.
I've attended many concerts, discos and many other events in this hall between the late 80's and early 90's while living in the town.
I also love visiting the town again in recent years again.
