The Reach out project aims to run outdoor movement classes for young people of all nationalities, genders, abilities and religions aged 5-17 who struggle to meet the high cost of conventional sport and recreation activities. Through the practice of Parkour, Art du deplacement and Freerunning our instructors will teach techniques, training methods, and values of the practices while encouraging creativity through movement and a new way to play and interact with natural and built environments. Our movement program will be based around commission housing flats, high rises, recreation spaces and parks located in the City of Melbourne.
Explore Movement will share the benefits of an exciting practice, to embody values of respect, humility, confidence, creativity and strength, so participants can become active members in their community. Through our classes and community we will share our knowledge and reignite a passion in our youth to play, move, and see a positive transformation in themselves. Outdoor classes will bring a respect for our open spaces, leaving no trace, and creating lively places that are safe and welcoming for all.

Great idea and hopefully something that will gain greater traction across all of melbourne. Young people need things like this to get them off their screens!
