An upgraded sound system at the Lighthouse Theatre will provide the whole community with access to the quality of sound expected when visiting a performing arts centre. This project will provide a rehaul of the current system, which is 30 years old. The new system will future proof further improvements and technological advances which aims to secure additional use from community users, patrons and hirers. This project will make sure that the residents of Warrnambool and the wider community continue to have access to a state of the art performing arts regional facility.

The proposed upgrade will secure the theatre’s future as one of the few regional centres capable of accommodating and securing large-scale performances and events. This will provide our audiences with the same calibre of performances and events available to metro audiences.

It will provide a technical relevant training platform for our regional community users to up-skill their teams and advance their productions.

The upgraded system will provide better clarity for all hearing loop patrons, as well as better access for events and functions to undertake vital presentations and share information.
