The bench seating would be around the 2 ovals to allow all those spectators watching Aussie Rules, Soccer, Cricket and other community sport to interact together on. The picnic tables around the reserve would also benefit others within the community by having a space to bring the family along to when the weather allows and to enjoy the open spaces. Bench seating would also be added to the function room to cater for large events where seating is required eg The Great Victorian Bike Ride, funerals etc and many other community events that make use of the community function room.

The seating would benefit the local community by bringing people together. It would allow spectators of those sports to get out of their cars because there would be plenty of seating to interact with other spectators and making new friends. Currently the seating is very limited and in need of repair or does not exist. The picnic tables would benefit the community by having areas for families to come together within the reserve. The largest benefit would be that the seating would be made from aluminium so there would not be any ongoing painting by volunteers therefore no ongoing maintenance.
