The current caravan park amenities block is greater than 50 years old and requires a considerable amount of repair each year to maintain. It has been a vision for some time of the Pyramid Hill Progress Association (who operate the Caravan Park on behalf of the Loddon Shire) to build a new amenities block that will house toilets, showers as well as the park laundromat facilities. The current ageing amenity block does not have disabled toilet or shower facilities and we believe these are a necessity for our caravan park and will be included in the new amenity block.
This project will bring a range of positive benefits to our community. Economically, we could expect an increase in the number and length of visitor stays within our caravan park and therefore an increase in visitor spending within our town. This in turn would promote stabilisation of existing employment within the township, whilst potentially enhancing opportunity for employment growth. From a community perspective, this project will enhance the liveability of our township as many community individuals currently utilise the park laundry facilities. It will also increase the overall appeal of our town and region as a place to visit.

A project that will be of great benefit to Pyramid Hill and increase the number of customers to the park who will spend money in the local community. Small towns need the inflow of money that visitors provide. This facility is run by volunteers and would greatly enhance their past and future work contributions.
A new block of showers and toilets which includes access for handicaped people will be a big benefit and will be a big improvement to the Caravan Park
A small project that will make a HUGE difference to the users of the park and the volunteers who mange it.
