Provision dedicated Women's Changerooms

The Prince Of Wales park hockey pitch is constantly used 7 days a week for 8 months of the year for over 600 hockey players of all ages with around 50% women and 50% men currently using the pitch but more importantly women having to share change- rooms with men. Particularly this is difficult with toilets and women only facilities not being available in existing 2 change rooms. This is unacceptable by today's standards. The Project will provide 2 change rooms with Showers and female toilet facilities for women only use.

Today with a growing sport with full use of the POW hockey pitch facilities, the provision of additional 2 womens only facilities will allow 50% of Hockey Ballarat's playing members, our women and juniour girls, access to acceptable change facilities. Over 300 female participant will benefit and indeed the whole membership and visiting clubs will use the facilities.
