Our project will offer young and old, newly arrived Pacific Islanders and those who have been here longer the tools, resources, opportunities and events to share our cultures. We think it is important for our people to embrace the Australian culture but also be connected to their heritage culture. This will be done by holding dance classes, singing groups and show casing our art work. Where the newly arrived will be able to share cultural expressions from back home. We believe that having a sense of belonging and knowing your roots is integral to a healthy self esteem.

Our programs is open to everyone to learn about the Pacific Islanders culture. Greater Shepparton City is a multicultural community, therefore Poly Proud is committed to promoting the diversity of our region, and strengthening the different cultures that reside in the area. We wish to provide our Pacific Islanders as well as any other cultures, a safe place to explore who they are and feel a sense of belonging and at the same share our unique cultures with the rest of the Community. We aim to bring a piece of our homes to your home.

Sounds a great way to share culture, engage & help integration.
