Warragul North Primary has established playgrounds that are ageing and need attention. The current project is designed to replace the existing playground surface to bring it up to current safety standards. This project has partial funding already, the requested funding would guarantee completion.
Warragul North Primarily School has over 600 students, from over 400 families, making it the largest school in the area. In addition, the unique location of the school enables a wide range of children from the local community, to have access to the playground out of school hours.

School development and safety should equal school population growth otherwise education and opportunity are sub-standard. I would like to see rubbertough introduced to not only improve safety but to support the natural curiosity of physical ability that children have which can lead to a more positive attitude toward fitness and health.
It would be standard for new developments.
We support this project and have seen the need for resurfacing the area to provide greater safety for primary school aged children.
Kind regards,
