Pedal Boats for Horsham

With the growing popularity of our Wimmera River, as it flows through Horsham, the environs are becoming places for all members of our community to participate in a variety of outdoor activities. Our local Council is committed to offering more ways for residents and visitors to enjoy our local scenery. The addition of pedal boats will introduce a new, fun activity for families and friends to get out and about...on the water. The Sundolphin Pedal Boats can seat 5 people, with pedals each side for the front seats and a rudder control for steering. They also have a sunshade canopy.

If there is one thing that has long-lasting benefits in our community, it is families and friends spending time and enjoying activities.....'together'.
Activities that are attractive for young people are particularly valuable for providing life-long memories of weekends or times away on holidays. The river is beautiful as are the banks with the birds and native trees and plants, right in town. The pedal boats will be able to be hired for a nominal fee. The project includes life jackets for boat users.
