Peace Summit

The Peace Conference will be hosted by the Global Prosperity and Peace Initiative (GPPI), which was founded in 2017. The day-long conference will be attended by American Paula Fellingham (founder of the GPPI). It will involve keynote speakers related to themes of domestic violence, refugees and environment/sustainability; musical performances from local schools; and an Indigenous Welcome to Country. Peace Awards will be presented to selected individuals. There will also be possible tours for international delegates surrounding the conference. Accommodation for international delegates will be available at the conference centre. Food and beverage provided, including morning and afternoon teas and lunch.

1.A local opportunity to conduct an internationally based Peace Conference. It would attract tourism to the area, and boost finances for local businesses.
2. It could be seen as a pilot project, which could serve as the basis for other similar conferences to be held elsewhere in Australia.
