The power of group effort and investment to provide solar panels and a further injection of funds into a community garden in its infancy.
The production of our own energy and a way to reduce environmental footprint in terms of coal extraction, provide energy from a renewable source and reduce energy costs.
Stage Two of community garden project, landscaping, planting.

The Maryborough Community House Inc want to set a standard of sustainability, through activating sustainable projects and activity.
Firstly solar panels on our building. This will help show people the ideal and the actual in terms of how to provide one's own energy and feed excess into the grid.
To supplement this we will continue to develop our community house environs with sustainable edibles and plants in an aesthetic environment which imbues the sense of working with the land. With the community garden stage two, we will conserve, re-use, generate an environment of well being, sustainability and prosperity.

This would be great for MCH and then funds that are now paid to Power would then be reduced and the funds could be put to much better use and this would also be good for the environment. This may also encourage others in the community to change. The Garden project is an important part of sustainability Please allow this to happen vote now.

The Community House contributes greatly to our local area with projects and regular activities for the benefit of the entire Goldfields area. A worthy project to support.

Community gardens help many people to get a good meal inside them and is also a place where people from all walks of life can come together in friendship and mutual help. Solar panels help reduce running costs, which means more money to provide programs to help the wider community especially the aged, the young, the ones with special needs and the lonely.
