This space will unite three key areas and programs for our students as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing area that our children and families can be proud of.
The area will connect the STEM centre, the music room/kitchen garden and the art room and be a space where students can learn amongst nature. The garden will house many vegetables and herbs for students use in cooking as well as sensory items for students to explore. The large deck/learning area will provide students space to create! The deck design will also be a performance space for our performing arts learning.
Winchelsea Primary School is the main educational environment for our town’s children. Our school also acts as a ‘hub’ for many community activities. Local organisations, such as church groups, play groups and the local kinder use our spaces for their programs. This will be another space on offer to those groups to use. The outdoor learning space will be a sensory place families can go and enjoy using on weekends and during holiday periods.
